Electus FiveM Bodyguard Script

Give players a pocket army. This script lets anyone hire and command AI bodyguards, recruit gang muscle off the street, or call in police reinforcements, all from three dedicated shops. It works well on servers short on active cops or criminals, evening out the odds so a lone player still has backup.

Three types of bodyguard

Police, gang, and regular bodyguards each behave differently, and each one is good at three things: shooting, driving, and armor. Every type can be locked behind a job, so police reinforcements only spawn for on-duty officers. In theory you can field unlimited bodyguards at once, though for obvious reasons that is not recommended.

Hire, manage, and interact

• Rent by time: a bodyguard is rented for a selectable duration and the price scales with how long you keep them.
• Stay hired: the ped sticks around until the contract runs out or the player terminates it. Terminating deletes the bodyguard completely.
• Claim insurance: if a bodyguard dies, claim insurance inside the shop and a fresh one spawns.
• Put on leave or reinstate: park a bodyguard when you do not want them active, then bring them back later.
• Single control: interact with one bodyguard through a target system or the default G key to make them hold position, follow you, or go on leave.
• Group control: command every bodyguard at once with /bodyguard_stay and /bodyguard_follow.

Vehicles

Bodyguards follow you into vehicles, and the built-in vehicle menu lets you swap seats so a bodyguard drives you to a waypoint or just cruises around.

Gang and police features

• Recruit gang members straight from the streets, with the cost depending on the recruit and their weapon.
• Police backup on demand: type /backup and your AI officers come flying in.
• Weapons your way: hand bodyguards your own weapon models or buy weapons together with the ped.

Configurable

Tune ped models, weapon models, all prices, price deductions, speed metrics, maximum slots, and currency. The UI is clean, easy to read, and ships with switchable themes in the settings.

Performance

Idle sits at 0.00ms. With bodyguards out and under a heavy task it peaks at roughly 0.06 to 0.08ms.

Requirements

Requires ESX or QB-Core and ox_lib. A target system is recommended for the best performance. Comes with free Discord support, plus free updates and full rewrites down the line.
