Bail and Bounty System

A bail enforcement job for your city. Players who post bail don't just walk free, they go on parole and have to keep reporting in, and if they skip out, bounty hunters get the green light to track them down and drag them back.

Bail and Parole

When a player is placed on bail, they're put on parole and have to attend daily meetings with a Parole Officer (an NPC).

• Every meeting sends them out to do community service to stay compliant.
• Miss a meeting and bail is automatically revoked, which opens them up to bounty hunters for detention and a reward.
• Everyone on bail gets an ankle monitor that broadcasts their position to all on-duty officers.
• Players can cut the ankle monitor off, which alerts police (requires configuring a dispatch event).
• Any officer with the bail management permission can pardon or revoke bail.

Bounty Hunting

Anyone with bounty hunter permission can clock in and grab a loadout.

• The default loadout includes a Tazer that only works on active bounty targets, so nobody can taze random players.
• NPC bounties generate on their own at low, medium, or high risk.
• Risk level drives how likely an NPC is to run a scenario on you:
• - Fleeing on foot
• - Fleeing in a vehicle
• - Assault
• - Deadly assault with a weapon
• Bounty hunters can team up on a bounty, and when one turns it in, everyone on the job gets paid.
• Hand a player bounty over to an officer and both the officer and the hunter earn a bonus multiplier.

Framework and Target Support

• Works with ox-target, qb-target, qtarget, or with targeting turned off entirely.
• Ships with ESX and QB support, and the bridge is fully open so you can wire up your own framework or target system.

Requirements

• ESX (1.1+), QBox, or QB, or code your own bridge (the bridge is fully accessible).
• Ox Lib (required, works anywhere).

Installation

• Install the items shown in the "INSTALL" folder.
• ensure pickle_bailbounty.
• Enable or disable the target option in the config depending on whether your server uses a target resource.
• Restart the server.
