Free Realistic Smoking System: Puff-by-Puff Control

Two characters lean on a car outside the club and talk. With this script, one of them lights a cigarette and smokes it at their own pace: a drag when there is a pause, a slow exhale while the other one answers. The animation follows the player's input instead of running one fixed loop, and the smoke they breathe out shows up for everyone standing there.

It is free and standalone, and works on ESX, QBCore, Qbox or a custom framework without editing dependencies.

What the player controls

Each puff. Players decide when to take a drag, and the animation and smoke respond to that timing.

The item. Cigarettes, cigars and other smokeable items are supported, with hand and mouth positions that line up with whatever is being held.

The breath. Inhale and exhale movements are tied into the smoking cycle.

What everyone else sees

Smoke particles are synced, so nearby players see the same cloud rather than an effect only the smoker can see.

Installing it

Drop the resource in and start it. A config file adjusts the system for your server, and resource use stays low while it runs.
