FiveM Pepper Spray Script

Add pepper spray to your police department as a proper addon weapon. weapon_pepperspray ships in the files and equips like any other gun, so officers pull it out and use it with no extra setup. When you land a hit on another player, the script applies a configurable effect that temporarily paralyses the target and takes them out of the fight.

It runs standalone with no other resources required. A job check for ESX and QBCore confirms the player is police before the pepper spray effect is applied, so random civilians cannot spray each other.

What you can configure

• Effect and duration: set the pepper spray effect and the total time it lasts on the target.
• Range and angle: control the maximum distance and the angle relative to the target at which a spray connects.
• Immunity clothing: with skinchanger, assign clothing pieces that make the wearer immune to the effect. The relevant function is accessible, so other skin systems can be wired in too.

Performance

Idle cost is 0 ms, rising to a maximum of 0.03 ms only while a pepper spray effect is actively applied.

Notes

The standard version is encrypted, but the key functions stay reachable through bridge code. CodeM-Inventory is known not to work correctly with the pepper spray, and support cannot be offered in that case.
