Deployable Emergency Vehicle Light

Undercover units, paramedics and road-workers all need to be seen. This script lets a player equip any vehicle with a blue, red or orange emergency light on the spot, either through an item or a command. It is highly configurable but stays easy to drop in.

Features

• Standalone: runs without any dependencies. You only need an inventory script (ESX, QB, ox and others) if you want to trigger the light from an item.
• Props included: the light props ship with the files and are not encrypted.
• Works on any roof automatically: any vehicle with a roof gets a suitable light position with no per-vehicle setup, unless it is blacklisted.
• Special vehicles: cars without a normal roof can be given a manual light position.
• Per-vehicle colors: blue, red or orange can be set differently for different vehicles. You can also use a separate item per color, and the light shown matches the item's color.
• Blink or rotate: switch the light between a blinking and a rotating effect.
• Toggleable siren: enable a siren while the light is deployed, with custom sirens supported.
• Fully configurable: light properties, animations, vehicle configs, sirens and more are all in the config.
• Synced and optimized: lights sync between players and only nearby vehicle lights render, so multiple deployed lights stay smooth.

Resmon: Idle 0.00ms, active on 1 vehicle 0.07ms, active on 10 close-by vehicles 0.13ms.

How it works

• Deploy light: use the item or command while driving any vehicle that is not blacklisted.
• Light deployed: a default configuration finds a suitable roof position automatically. Specific vehicles can still be given their own place-animation, color, position and sirens.
• Toggle siren: with the light deployed, press L-SHIFT to sound the siren. This is configurable and can be disabled.
• Remove light: take the light down again with the command or L-CTRL, also configurable.
