The record

Elevate mechanic gameplay: deep tuning, advanced stance, full services.

JG Mechanic Script

A full mechanic job for ESX, QBCore and Qbox that goes past stock GTA tuning: engine swaps with real sounds, per-wheel stance, mileage servicing, a working dyno, and a tablet that runs the whole shop. Everything effect-heavy is synced through OneSync Infinity state bags, so the car your mechanic just built looks the same to everyone standing around it.

The short version

  • Tuning: every option including the latest DLCs, self-service or mechanic order, camera previews, and options you can switch off in config.
  • Respray: GTA base colours with search, primary/secondary sync and pearlescence, plus RGB for millions of combinations and chameleon paint down to wheels and interior where compatible.
  • Pricing: set per category, with multipliers, and optionally scaled to a vehicle's value.
  • Vehicle stance: suspension height, camber and tracking adjusted per wheel, synced and saved through the garage.
  • Repairs: fix at a tuning location, order a repair, use a kit, or slap on duct tape for a quick patch.
  • Servicing: parts wear on a mileage basis and need a mechanic visit to replace.
  • Performance tuning: engine swaps, tyres, drivetrain and brakes, with support for streamed engine sounds.
  • Manual transmissions: swap any non-electric car to manual and reward drivers who shift on time.
  • Dyno: tablet-based runs with a horsepower and torque graph.
  • Invoices: generated automatically, editable, saveable and resendable.
  • LightingControl+: RGB xenons and underglow with effects, driven by an inventory item.
  • Car lifts: a usable lift prop, job locked to mechanic businesses.
  • Items: tie almost any feature to inventory items.
  • Webhooks: up to 7 Discord URLs for logging.
  • Performance: 0.0 to 0.1ms at idle, even on large servers.

What each part does

### Tuning
Tune vehicles with every option available, including the latest DLCs such as the 7 new plate options from Chop Shop. Players browse modifications through the interface and either apply and pay themselves or place an order for a mechanic to fit. Previewing is handled by automatic camera angles or a free camera so you can line up the exact shot. Any tuning option you don't want can be disabled in the config.

### Respray
Build unique colour combinations. Base GTA colours are easy to find using search, primary and secondary sync, and a pearlescence toggle, or one click on RGB opens up millions of colours. Chameleon paint is there too, and it can reach the wheels and interior where the vehicle supports it.

### Pricing
Pricing is highly configurable. Price each category separately, performance, cosmetics, wheels, respray and more, and layer on multipliers. Prices can also scale to the vehicle's value for a fairer economy, pulled from JG Dealerships, QBShared or vehicles.meta.

### Advanced vehicle stance
Available inside the tuning menu or as an item, stance lets players set suspension height plus camber and tracking on a per-wheel basis. It is server synced, optimised, and saved when the car is stored or pulled from a garage, so you can build cars that previously weren't possible in FiveM.

### Repairs
Players can repair at a tuning location, place a repair order, use a repair kit, or reach for duct tape when they just need to limp back to the road. Repair cost can scale to the vehicle's value.

### Servicing
For cities that want players to actually look after their cars, servicing wears parts on a mileage basis. After a configurable distance the vehicle needs a mechanic to inspect it and replace worn parts to keep it at full performance. Requires jg-vehiclemileage, which is free and included.

### Performance tuning
Custom tuning takes cars past stock GTA limits. It ships pre-configured with engine swaps and sounds (V12, V8, V6, I4) along with tyre, drivetrain and brake options. You can also write your own performance options in the config and decide how each one affects handling or sound. Custom streamed engine sounds are supported.

### Manual transmissions
Swap any car's automatic to a manual and add a layer of skill to city driving. Master it and you squeeze more from the engine, shift too late and you damage it and end up at the mechanic sooner. Swaps happen through the tablet using an item or society money. Electric vehicles are excluded.

### Dyno
Built into the tablet, the dyno reads a customer's current performance. A run takes around 30 seconds and shows horsepower and torque climbing through the RPM range. At the top it displays the final stats and graph, which can be shared with the customer or anyone nearby.

### Invoices
While a mechanic fits tunes, NOS or services a car, an invoice is created automatically. The mechanic sets the prices and sends it to the customer, no notes and no lost track of what was changed. Invoices can be built from scratch, saved for later, resent, and stay synced between everyone employed at the business.

### Mechanic tablet
Servicing, dyno, performance tuning, invoices, order fulfilment and business management all run from the tablet, set up as a command or an item. Mechanics move around the shop without being pinned to markers. Connect a vehicle to work on it, or use the management side without any vehicle attached.

### LightingControl+
An inventory item for car meets and night driving. Turn RGB xenons and underglow on and off, and run effects like rainbow or flash.

### Car lifts
A custom, interactable car lift prop you can place anywhere on the map. It job locks automatically to a mechanic business, so the lift is actually used instead of mimed.

### Items
Almost every feature can be bound to inventory items: the tablet, tuning order installs, stancing, engine swaps, NOS, brakes, repairs, cleaning, lighting control, servicing and more.

### Webhooks
Discord webhook logging covers up to 7 different URLs, so the right people get notified wherever they are when something happens in the city.

### Sync and performance
Animations and effects run through OneSync Infinity state bags, so what you see is what nearby players see. That same approach keeps resmon at 0.0 to 0.1ms even on large servers, rising only during heavy client effects such as stancing, NOS or LightingControl+, because there are no unnecessary infinite loops doing the syncing.
